My days are no longer spent reaching for the future,
but drifting through the hushed corridors of memory.
Perhaps this life has achieved nothing,
a mere ripple in a vast, indifferent ocean.

Yet, this is my final defiance against the void.
I refuse to be silently dissolved into the grey sprawl of entropy.
I leave this as a testament:

A record of one spark that breathed
within the infinite expanse of nature,
and profound relief of returning.
